The sports and health authorities, as well as various Public Administrations, initially implemented a series of actions in relation to the incidence of coronavirus transmission in our country, which included the closure of educational centers, the cessation of extracurricular or complementary activities, avoiding travel and meetings as much as possible and promoting teleworking.
Subsequently, on March 14, the Spanish Government declared a state of emergency throughout the country (see the full document below, in the Related Links section) in order to address the resulting health crisis as quickly as possible. Among many other measures, the opening to the public of facilities where sports and leisure activities take place was suspended. It is important to note that failure to comply with these measures will result in the application of the penalty system outlined in Article 20 of the aforementioned Royal Decree.
In line with these decisions, the Royal Spanish Golf Federation determines a series of preventive measures without prejudice to other future measures that the aforementioned sports and health authorities may set in the near future.
