The RFEG, in collaboration with the Regional Golf Federations and the clubs involved, announces the postponement of the competitions listed on its calendar during the month of June as a preventive measure against the incidence of coronavirus transmission.

This decision, which aims to preserve the health and safety of all people involved in holding all these competitions, expands on those previously taken in relation to tournaments scheduled in the months of March, April and May.

Specifically, the tournaments listed on the RFEG calendar that have been officially postponed in June are the following:

June 4-7: Spanish Women's Individual Championship, in Ulzama

June 4-7: Spanish Men's Individual Championship, at Pula Golf

June 13-14: Spanish Over 30 Pitch & Putt Championship, in Arcosur

June 13-14: Second Zonal Qualifying Tournament for Youth in Andalusia, in Alborán

June 15-19: Spanish Armed Forces Absolute Women's Championship, in Gorraiz

June 19-21: Spanish Men's 3rd Category Championship, in Talayuela

June 20-21: Spanish Championship for 2nd, 3rd and 4th Categories, in Montecastillo

June 26-28: Spanish Championship for Children, Juniors and Beginners, at Real La Manga Club

June 27-28: IV National Senior Men's Qualifying Tournament, at RCG Puerta de Hierro

June 30 – July 1: First Basque Country Youth Zonal Qualifying Tournament, in Larrabea

June 17-19: World University Championships, in Taichung (Taipei)

June 23-26: Women's Junior World Team Championships, in Chukyo GC (Japan) – postponed to June 2021

REGISTRATION DEADLINES

All postponed competitions, once rescheduled in the future, will establish a new registration deadline.

Registrations already made for any of the postponed competitions in March, April and May were therefore cancelled, and it is necessary to register again when the new dates are announced.

MESSAGE OF ENCOURAGEMENT AND GRATITUDE

The RFEG (Royal Spanish Golf Federation), the Regional Federations, and the clubs involved in organizing these tournaments send a message of encouragement to all potential participants, knowing that we will all soon be able to enjoy our beloved sport to the fullest. The RFEG also expresses its gratitude for the support of the Regional Federations and the clubs, who are doing an excellent job with their essential maintenance tasks in order to have the courses ready as soon as the state of emergency declared in our country ends.
