All golf courses in Spain have the option to reopen their facilities from May 25th, once all of them are located in a geographical area included, at least, within Phase 1 of the de-escalation process established by the Government.

Tecina Golf, on the Canary Island of La Gomera, was the first golf course in Spain to have the opportunity to open its doors when it was included in Phase 1 of the de-escalation on May 4th.

A week later, on May 11, the territorial areas that accessed that Phase 1, an essential condition for the opening of outdoor sports facilities, were extended to a series of provinces and geographical demarcations, a process that was joined on May 18 by practically the entire Spanish territory with the exception of the Community of Madrid, the metropolitan area of Barcelona and a good part of Castilla y León.

Seven days later, starting on May 25, the entire Spanish territory will at least reach Phase 1, which allows all Spanish golf courses the option to restart their activity.
