The Pro Spain Team is an annual program of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation (RFEG), in collaboration with the Spanish National Sports Council, which aims to facilitate the transition of elite golfers from the amateur to the professional stage. Established in 2010, this program offers training and support to golfers in their early years as professionals, helping them quickly integrate into the major international tours.

Economics: Financial support tailored to the circuit in which they usually compete.

Formative: Assessments and advice from specialized technicians, physical trainers and other professionals.

Management: Assistance in obtaining tournament invitations and in finding sponsors.

In addition, players have access to the Golf Centre of Excellence, a state-of-the-art facility located at the National Golf Centre in Madrid, which offers advanced resources for their professional development.

Throughout its history, the Pro Spain Team has supported numerous golfers who have achieved success in the professional field, such as Azahara Muñoz, Carlota Ciganda, Jorge Campillo and Adrián Otaegui, among others.

1. Sending the attached form to the Circular 29/2020 “APPLICATION FOR PROFESSIONAL PLAYER LICENSE”, duly completed and signed, to the attention of Professional Technical Committee: ctp@rfegolf.es
2. The RFEG will carry out the corresponding documentation checks received.
3. If approved, the RFEG will carry out the administrative changes that the current regulations will rule, and will confirm to the interested party the obtaining the Professional Player license.

They may apply for a Professional Player license:

1. Those Amateur Players, with a valid license issued by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, who hold a World Exact Handicap 1.4 or lower (with a minimum of 20 laps in the calculation of said handicap), perform two rounds in races that count towards the World Amateur Ranking (WAGR) with a result equal to or lower than that required by a World Exact Handicap 1.4. These rounds will have a 12-month validity for the purpose of applying for a professional player's license.
2. Those Amateur Players, who having belonged to the Senior National Team in the last 10 years at the date of application hold World Exact Handicap 1.4 or lower.
3. Those Amateur Players or those Professionals without a Professional Player license, that is, those who exclusively hold one of the following licenses:
   • Monitor
   • Teacher's Assistant
   • Teacher
   • Sports Technician
   • Foreign Technician

   that they perform two rounds in tests reserved for Professionals without a Professional Player license or tests reserved for Professional Players with a result equal to or lower than that required by World Exact Handicap 1.4. These laps will have a 12-month validity for the purpose of applying for a professional player's license.
