With the implementation of the new World Handicap System, the maximum handicap that can be assigned to each category, regardless of gender and age, is 54.0. When players change categories (for example, from Benjamin to Alevín, from Alevín to Infantil, etc.), there will no longer be a need to update the handicap for the new category, and the players will continue with the same handicap they had on December 31st before entering the new age category.
To make the selection, the classification in the corresponding national ranking of the season is valued, the reports of the members and technicians of the committee and the progression, work and results of the players throughout the season are also taken into account.
CADET: 15 and 16 years old
CHILDREN: 13 and 14 years old
JUNIOR: 11 and 12 years old
BENJAMIN: …, 7, 8, 9 and 10 years old
(The tee boxes and the number of holes to be played in each category will always be at the discretion of the Tournament Committee or the Competition Committee of the corresponding club where the tournament is held, always taking into account that the tee boxes chosen are duly rated and approved for the category in question)

Regulations
To develop the regulations for the Spanish Championships and national scoring events for cadet, junior, under-12 and under-10 players
Player selection
To develop the rules and selection criteria for the various National Teams that depend on it and the designation of the Federation Delegates for each event
National teams
Planning and organization of the season for the various National Youth Teams (Cadet and Junior). Deciding on and carrying out the national team selections that depend on the committee, as well as the selection of their respective captains.
Calendar
Prepare the national youth competition and training camp calendar. Regarding competitions, the calendar includes national events (Spanish Championships and national ranking events) and international events. Prepare the committee's annual report of results.
Championships
Organization of the various Spanish Championships (Under-16, Under-14, Under-12, and Under-10) and national qualifying events. Preparation of the corresponding information circulars.
Rankings
Preparation of the various national youth rankings for both sexes (cadet and children's)
Communication
Communications and consultations with the Regional Federations, clubs, members, foreign federations and the Higher Sports Council
Working Groups
Select the players who will make up the Working Groups that will work with them throughout the season. Prepare the schedule of training camps for the CTJ Working Groups. Monitor and track the players at the various training camps and championships held throughout the season, and supervise their progress and results using the RFEG statistics program. Selection criteria include the player's ranking in the corresponding national ranking for the season, reports from committee members and coaches, and consideration of their overall progress, performance, and results throughout the season.
