Women's Committee

To the Women's Amateur Technical Committee It is responsible for organizing and coordinating the practice and promotion of the sport of golf, as played by female amateur golfers. Its specific task is to prepare, develop, and submit to the appropriate bodies:

  • TO) He Fan Statute and any reform thereof in collaboration with the Men's Amateur Technical Committee.
  • B) The regulations of all the amateur female tests.
  • C) The selection criteria of the different national teams that depend on him, and the Appointment of the Federation Delegates for each test.
  • D) The national teams that depend on him, as well as his Captains respective.
  • AND) He test schedule of a national and international nature, to be held throughout the Spanish territory, prepared in collaboration with the other interested Committees.

What are the competition categories of the RFEG Women's Committee?
The CTAF is responsible for the following age categories:
Girl Category: who turn 18 or younger in the year the championship is held.
Women's Absolute Category: all players regardless of age.
Mid-Amateur Category: players who turn 25 or older in the year the championship is held.
Senior Female Category: players who turn 50 or older in the year the championship is held.
What is the Senior Women's Ranking used for?
He Senior Female Ranking It is regulated by a circular issued at the end of the previous year and serves as the basis for the selection of players for the European Senior Women's Team Championship, as well as for awarding grants for the European Senior Women's Individual Championship and other international championships that are determined each year in said circular.
How can I become part of the national team?
The Women's Committee publishes, by means of a circular, at the end of the previous year, the regulations of the absolute female and Girl (under-18) rankings and the selection system for national and international competitions.
If I'm on a waiting list for a championship, how can I find out if I've been accepted?
As soon as a player withdraws, the first player on the waiting list is contacted by phone or email. If they cannot be reached, the list is updated, adding that player to the participant list and notifying them by email that if they cannot participate, they have until 12:00 PM the day before the event to withdraw without penalty.
How can I find out if I've been accepted into a championship I've signed up for?
The list of those admitted to a championship is published the day after the registration closing date, once the handicaps have been updated to that date.
Before that date, it is impossible to know if the player will be able to participate.
How can I register for an RFEG tournament?
From the homepage, in the "Federated Club" section under the heading "ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR COMPETITIONS"«
Also from the start, in the horizontal menu, access "RFEG" and below to "Femenino", on the right under the heading of circulars you will find the call for each championship.
Where can I find the RFEG competition calendar for the women's category?
Every year, the calendar for the following season is published during the month of October. The official calendar for all RFEG tournaments is available in the "Compete" section of the home menu, by selecting RFEG. There you will need to apply the corresponding filters (Women's Committee).

Functions of the Women's Committee

Regulations

Establish the regulations for the National and International Amateur Championships for female and mixed categories and for ages 17 and up.

Annual competition calendar

Manage venues and dates to establish and publish the annual calendar of national and international amateur women's and mixed competitions. Organize national and international competitions held in Spain, as well as international, European, or world championships held in Spain. Select the captains and technical staff to travel with the various national teams.

Procedures, projects and communication with national and international official bodies

Higher Sports Council, Spanish Olympic Committee, Royal & Ancient, European Golf Association and International Golf Federation, regional golf federations, clubs, AESGOLF as well as interaction and coordination with the various RFEG departments.

Golf entities at the national level

Communicate selections to the Regional Golf Federations.

Monitoring women's sporting activity globally

Analyze trends, studies and recruitment efforts for potential high-performance players.

Sports project and budget

Prepare the sports project and annual budget for the committee's activities.

National rankings, grants and selection criteria for individual players and national women's teams

Establish the regulations through an annual Circular, which is published on the RFEG website.

Working group of players for each season

To annually select players with the aim of preparing national teams and providing comprehensive training for athletes at a high level, through training camps and monitoring activities, as well as assisting them in planning their schedules to distribute their workload and promote optimal performance. To appoint the coaching staff to work at the various training camps and coordinate monitoring activities.

Equipment

Identify needs, place orders with different suppliers, and control stock.

Attention to the federated member
