He Rules Committee of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation is the body responsible for ensuring the correct knowledge, interpretation y application of the Rules of Golf in Spain. Their work is fundamental to maintaining the game integrity and ensure that the tournaments and competitions are developed within a framework of equity y I respect by the rules established by The R&A and the USGA.

Functions of the Rules Committee

Regulations

To propose and approve the Rules of the Game.

Interpretation and monitoring

Interpret the Rules of the Game and ensure that they are scrupulously observed in all tests.

Referee training

Establish the levels of referee training, convene the exams and issue the national federation titles.

Technical classification

To technically classify Judges or Referees, proposing their assignment to the corresponding categories and proposing candidates for international Judge or Referee.

Arbitration rules

Approve the administrative rules regulating arbitration.

Coordination

Coordinate training levels with regional federations.

Designation

Appoint referees in state-level competitions.
