Men's Committee

To the Men's Amateur Technical Committee It is responsible for organizing and coordinating the practice and promotion of the sport of Golf, developed by male amateur players. Its unique task is to prepare, develop and submit to the appropriate bodies:

The Fan Statute and any reform thereof in collaboration with the Women's Amateur Technical Committee.
The regulations for all male amateur events.
The selection rules for the different national teams that depend on him, and the Designation of the Federation Delegates for each event.
The national teams that depend on him as well as their Respective Captains.
He calendar of national and international tests, to be held throughout the Spanish territory, prepared in collaboration with the other interested Committees.

Which age categories fall under the jurisdiction of the RFEG Men's Committee?

The Men's Committee is responsible for the following age categories:

Boy Category: amateur players aged 18 or younger.

Junior Male Category: amateur players aged 21 or younger.

Male Absolute Category: amateur players, whatever their age.

Senior Male Category: amateur players aged 50 and over.

How do the rankings and the grant system work?

The Men's Committee publishes an information circular every season, at the end of the year, detailing and explaining the workings of the different rankings (Absolute, Senior, Junior and Boy) and establishing the subsidy system for the following year's national and international competitions.

If I'm on the waiting list for a championship, how will I know if I have a chance of being accepted?

When a player withdraws from a championship, the men's committee will immediately contact the player who is currently first on the waiting list. Therefore, all players must provide a mobile phone number or email address on their registration form so the committee can contact them. Otherwise, the committee will proceed directly to the next player on the waiting list.

How can I check the list of admitted players for a championship I have registered for?

The list of players admitted to an RFEG championship is published on the Spanish Federation's website the day after the registration closing date, once the handicaps have been updated on that date.

How can I register for an RFEG men's championship?

Within the website's homepage, in the "Federated Club" section, you can formalize your registration under the heading "ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR COMPETITIONS".

Another option would be to access "RFEG" from the horizontal menu and click on "MALE". In the lower right corner, under the heading "Circulars", you will find the announcement for each championship where you can register.

How can I check the RFEG's men's amateur competition calendar?

The official RFEG tournament calendar is available on the website's homepage, at the bottom left, under the heading "HIGH COMPETITION". To access only the men's committee competitions, go to the RFEG website from the homepage and click on "Men's Committee". The calendar can be found under the heading "COMPETITIONS".
