The Royal Spanish Golf Federation It maintains a zero-tolerance policy towards situations of abuse, harassment or sexual violence, assuming an important role in protecting and ensuring a safe environment free from all forms of violence in the field of golf, both in its competitions and in its work environment.

To do this, the Royal Spanish Golf Federation It has a Specific committee and a Prevention, detection and action protocol in the face of situations of abuse or harassment based on sex or authority applicable to the activity (internal and external) of the federation and all the people who are part of it (athletes, managers, technical staff, etc.).

Furthermore, the Royal Spanish Golf Federation collaborates with the ANAR Foundation so that through the free and confidential telephone line 900 202 010 Children and adolescents who are members of the federation receive an immediate response to any problem that may affect them: relationship difficulties, violence in its various forms, and psychological problems, among others. Any child or young person can dial this number and will find a psychologist on the other end who will listen to them for as long as necessary, guide them through their problem, and help them find a solution.

The Advisory Committee against sexual violence

This Committee is the body responsible for adopting the measures it deems appropriate in relation to acts of sexual violence, abuse or harassment that take place within the federation.

Its main mission is prevent, detect and act In these situations, specifically addressing sexual violence.

Its members are appointed by the President from among the following people:

• A representative of the Board of Directors.
• Two representatives appointed by the President of the Federation.
• The Protection Delegate.

Procedure
The Protection Delegate will initiate the PROCEDURE formal prior presentation of the corresponding APPLICATION of a signed and written request for help or complaint, after which it will notify the person about whom the complaint is made of the existence of the complaint and the offensive conduct attributed to them.

Respecting the right to privacy and the dignity of every person involved, a meeting will be held with each of the parties as well as with possible witnesses, to gather all the information about the events that occurred.

It is not the responsibility of the Protection Delegate to determine whether sexual violence exists or to resolve the case, but they are obligated to inform the Advisory Committee the request for help or complaint, and propose the adoption of the precautionary measures that are deemed appropriate, depending on the seriousness of the accusation or complaint.

In situations of minor severity, an attempt will be made to resolve the conflict through... mediation.

The Protection Officer will meet with both parties separately, concluding the process if there is an agreement between the parties, and communicating the resolution of the conflict to the Advisory Committee.

In all other situations, the Protection Delegate will prepare a report with the conclusions reached in the procedure, including, where applicable, any aggravating circumstances observed, which will be submitted to the Advisory Committee so that it can make the proposed resolution based on the seriousness of the proven conduct.

The proposed resolution will be submitted to the Presidency of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation so that it may issue the appropriate resolution, which will bring the procedure to an end.
