– Register in the Register of Clubs of the Autonomous Community to which they belong.

– Send a letter to the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, through the corresponding Territorial branch, requesting membership.

– Send a copy of your Statutes.

– Send the composition of the Board of Directors and the Competition Committee (if applicable)

– Send postal, telephone, etc. details (according to the attached form)

– Commit to requiring the federation license at your facilities.

– To commit to paying the fees established by the Assembly of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, as well as to comply with all federation agreements.

– Register in the Register of Sports Entities (in those Autonomous Communities where this is required)

– Send a letter to the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, through the corresponding Territorial Federation, requesting membership.

– To prove ownership (property or permanent enjoyment of the land, if applicable) as well as to prove the representation of the applicant.

– To inform the RFEG of the composition of the Competition Committee (in case they wish to participate in competitions)

– Send postal, telephone, etc. details (according to the attached form)

– Commit to requiring the federation license at your facilities.

– To commit to paying the fees established by the Assembly of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, as well as to comply with all federation agreements.

1) Send the completed and signed form attached to Circular 13/05, "APPLICATION FOR PROFESSIONAL PLAYER LICENSE," which can also be obtained from the Federated Entities (Federations, Clubs, etc.), to the attention of the Professionals Department. Note: As mentioned on the form, amateur players must also submit: two passport-size photographs and a photocopy of both sides of their National Identity Document.

2) After receiving the application, the RFEG will contact the applicant to confirm receipt of the application and, only in the case of an Amateur Player, inform you of the details of taking the Rules of Golf exam.

3) Having passed the aforementioned Rules of Golf exam (only in the case of an Amateur Player), the RFEG will make the corresponding administrative changes that the current regulations dictate, and will confirm to the interested party the obtaining of the Professional Player license.

They may apply for a Professional Player license:

1) Those Amateur Players, with a valid license issued by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, holding an EGA Exact Handicap of 1.4 or lower:

i) Complete two rounds in Official National Championships (published annually by the RFEG) with a result equal to or lower than that required by an Exact Handicap EGA 1.4. A maximum period of 12 months is required between obtaining the first and second round.

ii) Pass a Rules of Golf exam, which the RFEG may delegate to a Territorial Federation.

2) Those Amateur Players, having belonged to the Junior National Team or the Absolute National Team in the last 10 years to the date of application, and holding an Exact Handicap EGA of 1.4 or lower:

i) Pass a Rules of Golf exam, which the RFEG may delegate to a Territorial Federation.

3) Those Professionals without a Professional Player license, that is, those who exclusively hold one of the following licenses:

(a) Monitor (b) Teacher's Assistant (c) Teacher (d) Golf Sports Technician

that:

Complete two rounds in tests reserved for professionals without a professional player's license or tests reserved for professional players with a result equal to or lower than that required by Exact Handicap EGA 1.4. A maximum period of 12 months is required between obtaining the first and second round.

Alternatively, achieving an average score of one stroke above that required by Exact Handicap EGA 1.4 in events played over three rounds or more will serve as accreditation of the level of play.

These laps can be obtained in events dependent on territorial federations, provided that a minimum of 30 professional players compete, and when the RFEG has authorized the event for the purpose of obtaining laps upon request of the corresponding territorial federation (this must be responsible for the correct application of the sports regulations, and comply with minimum standards, which will be available to the territorial federations).

In no case will tests held on fields with less than 5,500 meters (gentlemen) – 5,000 (ladies) and that are not played from white bars (gentlemen) – blue bars (ladies), when they exist, be considered.
