Presidency

It is the executive body of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation. It holds its legal representation, convenes and presides over the governing bodies.

Secretary General

He performs the functions of notary and advisor.

Management

Under the superior authority of the President, it guarantees the smooth economic and administrative functioning of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation.

Juan Guerrero-Burgos

Born in Madrid in 1955. Lawyer, practicing member no. 16268 of the Madrid Bar Association since 1977.
She has been head of the Litigation Department at the law firm Melchor de las Heras (Albiñana & Suárez de Lezo). She has also been a partner at the English law firm Allen & Overy.

He currently has his own office at Calle Sagasta, 18 – 2º Izq. 28004 Madrid.

Secretary not a Board Member of commercial companies in different sectoral areas.

External Legal Advisor to the Royal Spanish Golf Federation since 2000. Advisor to various individuals, entities, and companies, all outside the golf sector. He has held the position of President of the RFEG since December 2024.

Jesus Barrera Correal

Born in Madrid in 1972, he holds a degree in Business Administration from the European Business School and an MBA in Finance from IE Business School. He is currently the Investment Director at Abaco Capital SGIIC.

With over 20 years of experience in equities, he has held various positions at institutions such as Banesto, BBVA, Ahorro Corporación, and Horizon Capital. He has been a member of the Institute of Financial Analysts since 1999.

Outside of his professional field, he has been part of the Board of Directors of the Real Club Puerta de Hierro for several years, where he currently holds the position of Vice President.

Jaime Salaverri Aguilar

Born in San Sebastián, Jaime Salaverri holds a Law degree, specializing in Economic Law, from the University of Deusto and an MBA from IESE Business School (class of 1982). Based in Madrid, he began his professional career in 1982 at Citibank, and in February 1987 joined the founding team of Santander Investment, where he assumed joint responsibility for the Corporate Finance team.

In 1989, he joined JP Morgan as Head of Capital Markets and the Public Sector, later becoming Managing Director of the Investment Banking group, where he assumed responsibility for corporate clients. In May 2011, he joined Barclays as Head of Investment Banking in Spain, a position he held concurrently with that of Country Manager from January 2015 to April 2016.

A member of the RFEG Board of Directors and President of the RFEG Professional Committee since 2008, he has promoted the creation of the Neo-professionals support program (Pro Spain Team) and the Golf Centre of Excellence at the National Centre, also promoting the reorganization of the high-performance sports area and strengthening the RFEG Training Department.

He is also a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of the Real Club de Golf de Sotogrande, as well as of the Supervisory Committee for the complete restoration of the Cadiz course, a project carried out between January 2015 and July 2016.

Luis Nigorra Cobian

Luis Nigorra Cobián has been president of the Spanish Association of Golf Courses since March 2021, a position he assumed after two years as a member of the Board of Directors, where he represented the Mallorca Golf Courses Association, holding the position of president. Since 2010, he has also been president of the Board of Directors of the Real Club de Golf de Bendinat in Mallorca, as well as a board member and director of the Nova Santa Ponsa Golf course, also in Mallorca.

He also serves as an advisor to Habitat Golf Santa Ponsa, a real estate development company. In addition, he has been vice president of the Balearic Golf Federation (FBG) since 2024, and a member of the FBG's Board of Directors since 2000.

Before dedicating himself to managing companies in the golf sector, he held various positions as a board member at Banco Popular, Banco Popular Private Banking, and the European Investment Union. Regarding his education, he holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration (E2) from the Pontifical University of Comillas (ICADE) and an MBA from IESE Business School.

Mar Ruiz de la Torre Gómez de Barreda

Born in Valencia in 1964, Mar Ruiz de la Torre began playing golf at a very young age at El Saler Golf Course and later at Escorpión Golf Club. After completing her studies and spending 12 years in the banking industry, she decided to leave it all behind to dedicate herself fully to her true passion: golf, with which she has always remained connected in every aspect.

He entered the world of golf in 1982, starting in the press rooms of professional tournaments on the European Tour and National Circuits. Over time, he rose to the position of director and coordinator of Tournament Offices for European Tour Championships, LET, and National Championships in Spain and Portugal.
He worked as a freelancer for various companies, notably those associated with professionals such as Severiano Ballesteros and Miguel Ángel Jiménez. For 10 years he was part of Travel Sponsoring, which organizes the Summer Courses with the support of the RFEG (Royal Spanish Golf Federation), among other activities.

Additionally, she was a member of the Competition Committee of the Escorpión Golf Club and the Junior Committee of the Valencian Community Golf Federation, where she captained women's teams. She was a member of the Junior Committee of the Madrid Golf Federation and a member of the Women's Committee of the RFEG (Royal Spanish Golf Federation), a position she held as President from 2013 to 2024.

President of the Youth Technical Committee

Francisca Negré Mas

Born in Palma de Mallorca in 1963, she studied at the IUB. She joined Barclays Bank in 1985, working there until 2015. She is currently semi-retired. She was a member of the Balearic Golf Federation's Junior Committee and later served as its vice-president.

He is a Regional and National Referee. Prior to his appointment as President of the Junior Committee of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, he was a member of the Junior Technical Committee and the Women's Amateur Technical Committee of this federation.

Jesus Barrera Correal

Born in Madrid on January 30, 1968. Master's Degree in Golf Course Management from AGM/NH Hotels. Manager of the Villa Mayor Golf Course (Salamanca) 2005–2011. Manager of the Talayuela Hotel and Golf Course (Cáceres) 2011–2015. Member of the Assembly of the Castilla y León Golf Federation since 2005. Member of the Board of Directors of the Castilla y León Golf Federation since 2005.

President of the Pitch & Putt Committee and, later, of the Promotion Committee of the Castilla y León Golf Federation. First place winner of the Castilla y León Pitch & Putt Championship in 2007.

Member of the RFEG Assembly representing amateur players from Castile and León since 2009. Member of the RFEG Delegate Commission (2009-2011). Member of the RFEG Pitch & Putt Technical Committee since 2011. Director of various Spanish Pitch & Putt Championships.

Captain of the national Pitch & Putt team in the French Open and Spain - Portugal Pitch & Putt Match. Member of the RFEG Board of Directors since 2017.

President of the Adapted and Inclusive Golf Technical Committee

Francisco Centeno Huerta

Born in Madrid on February 15, 1972, he holds a degree in Business Administration from the Pontifical University of Comillas (ICADE) and a Master's degree in Finance from the Complutense University of Madrid (CUNEF). He is a Founding Partner and CEO of Prainter, Serinsa, and Exedra.

Chief Financial Officer of Nave Comunicación and Nave Publicidad. Executive Director of Projects and International Development at Ilunion Lavanderías and Director of International Business Development for the Ilunion Group.

Spanish Adapted Golf Champion 2011, runner-up in the Spanish Adapted Golf Championship 2014 and bronze medalist in the European Adapted Golf Team Championship 2015. Member of the RFEG Adapted Golf Committee between 2013 and 2015.
