The Spanish team won the second day of the France-Spain match with a score of 7-5, for a final total of 17-13. This victory marks their 16th win in this competition.

At the nine-hole mark, all but one of our teams were winning. However, they lost four of the back nine holes, although this didn't prevent them from increasing their lead.

At the end of the last day, the Spanish team dominated the Southwest France-Spain Match, which was played in the French town of Pau, by 10 to 8. 

FIRST DAY
At the end of the first day, the Spanish team leads the Southwest France-Spain Match, which is being played in the French town of Pau, by 10 to 8.

In the morning, in the foursomes, the French dominated by 3.5 to 2.5; on our side, Xavi Puig and Juan Francisco Sarasti won by 3/1. In the 2nd match, Lluis Garcia del Moral and Gonzalo Berlin, winning the last two holes, managed to tie the result. The second Spanish point was achieved by the Galician Fernando Adarraga and the Cantabrian Iván Chacón.

Later in the afternoon, the Spanish dominated the featured matches, with victories for Sarasti from the Basque Country, Lluis Garcia del Moral from Castellón, Jaime Camargo from Andalusia, Saul Menendez from Asturias, Borja Etchart from Bilbao, and Francisco Pintor from Alicante. The matches were generally very close, and the final result of the day wasn't decided in our favor until the last two matches were over.

This year, as the Pau Golf Club celebrates its 150th anniversary, the French team has been reinforced by players from all over France, unlike previous years when it was made up of players from the Aquitaine region.
