The Royal Spanish Golf Federation, together with the Autonomous Federations and the support of the Higher Sports Council through its Women and Sport program, promotes the television program HOLAGOLF, a fifteen-minute magazine.
The aim of this program is to introduce golf to those unfamiliar with it by highlighting its many benefits, such as health, nature, and physical activity. Additionally, leading figures in the sport collaborate to dispel the prejudices that have historically been associated with this recreational and athletic activity.
This eighth program of the season is now available for everyone to watch, presented by journalist Miguel Ángel Barbero and professional golfer Patricia Lobato.
In the third special installment since the start of the coronavirus lockdown, this time the spotlight falls on Rafael Cabrera-Bello, who tells us from the United States how he is experiencing it and his future plans.
Continuing with current events, he notes the great initiative of the golf courses to bring their machines out onto the fairways to help with disinfection tasks, and journalist Hugo Costa, in his section "Hugolf's Word," analyzes the economic consequences of the crisis.
As for the regular sections, the interview includes Annika Sorenstam's latest visit to Spain and a report on the RFEG's Communication Department, which constantly provides information to its own channels as well as to all media outlets.
In addition, the magazine features regular health sections (this week hosted by Dr. Alfonso del Corral) and "Golf from Scratch" (with an exercise by Patricia Lobato herself to practice the chip at home).
In addition to the weekly premieres, all HOLAGOLF programs are regularly rebroadcast on Teledeporte and are also available for online viewing at http://www.rtve.es/alacarta/videos/holagolf/, www.holagolf.es and www.rfegolf.es.
