With the aim of offering the best possible service to fans and tour operators, the organizers of the 2023 Solheim Cup have partnered with Onebox, a Spanish technology and services company, to handle ticket sales for this women's golf event. The tournament will pit the United States against Europe for the first time on Spanish soil at Finca Cortesín (Costa del Sol, Andalusia) from September 18-24, 2023. Tickets are already available for tour operators, and sales to the general public will begin at the end of August of this year via the website www.solheimcup2023.eu.

Given the importance of this competition, which has been declared an event of exceptional public interest by the Spanish government, the organizers have found in Onebox a technological partner that offers reliability, security, and quality to both fans and tour operators. This technology company specializes in helping promoters and organizers create and develop their own ticketing channels for all types of sporting, cultural, and musical events and shows.

Founded in 2010, with Spanish capital, headquartered in Barcelona and managing more than 35 million tickets, it is one of the best positioned companies in the ticketing sector and with the greatest growth in Spain, and its ranks stand out a very professional human team with extensive experience in the sector.

Onebox offers a flexible, modern, and secure solution that empowers organizers to attract audiences to their events through a seamless and efficient experience. It also boasts the largest integrated distribution channel network, enabling product distribution across a variety of platforms in diverse sectors, exponentially expanding the potential audience and boosting sales.

Onebox is the system of choice for major clients in the leisure, entertainment, and especially sports sectors, where it has developed long-term relationships with many of the market's leading entities, such as the Professional Football League (with agreements with Real Madrid, Atlético de Madrid, Valencia CF, Athletic Bilbao, and Sevilla, to name a few), the Royal Spanish Football Federation, the Mutua Madrid Open, the Davis Cup, the ACB (Spanish Basketball League), the EuroLeague, and the Barcelona and Valencia Circuits, among others. In this vein, the collaboration agreement with the 2023 Solheim Cup is another step by Onebox towards its leadership in the sector of major clients and sporting events.

“Being the exclusive partner of the 2023 Solheim Cup, such a major international sporting event, is a source of great joy for Onebox and a confirmation of the excellent work we are doing in the ticketing sector, and especially in the sports sector,” explains Carlos Galí, CEO and founder of Onebox. “It also allows us to expand our collaboration in developing ticketing within the golf sector, which we began with the European Tour tournaments held in Valderrama and Madrid. We are confident that it will be a resounding success in terms of both organization and attendance, and we are delighted to be part of the 2023 Solheim Cup.”.

“It is a source of pride to have a Spanish company as a partner for the 2023 Solheim Cup, a company that has achieved a leading position in such a competitive market as the technology sector. The support of a cutting-edge, secure, and efficient company like Onebox is essential in an era of rapid innovation. We want everyone who wants to join us at Finca Cortesín in 2023 to be able to do so easily and with the utmost security, and these are the main strengths of the Onebox platform, both for fans and for tour operators and major clients,” states Íñigo Aramburu, CEO of Deporte & Business.

The 2023 Solheim Cup, an event of exceptional public interest whose official venue is Finca Cortesín, is sponsored by PING, Costa del Sol, and Rolex as global partners; and by Andalucía, Acosol, the Marbella City Council, and the Benahavís City Council as official partners. Solán de Cabras, Eversheds Sutherland, and the Casares City Council are official suppliers. Marca and Radio Marca are official media outlets. The LET, LPGA, RFEG, CSD, RFGA, and Deporte & Business are collaborating in its organization.
