With the imminent start of the World Handicap System in Spain, the Courses and Handicap Committee has redesigned its microsite on the RFEG website (www.rfegolf.es) so that all information and documentation is centralized in one place.

Maintaining the common structure of the page, the module/box on the right contains all the information regarding the World Handicap System and all the information necessary for the understanding and application of said system.

The documentation is structured in five sections:

TOOLS

Where you can find the access points to the Player Area (you must be registered on the website to access it) and the Handicap Inquiry.

WORLD HANDICAP SYSTEM

It includes all the documents that regulate the World Handicap System, the World Handicap System Rule Book (the physical book began to be distributed just before the lockdown began) and the Procedures Guide (only available online).

Also included are the forms used by clubs to manage the handicap of members, updated to the World Handicap System: First Handicap Form and Manual Handicap Adjustment Form.

This section concludes with a compilation of Technical Articles that explain handicap calculations based on the World Handicap System.

COMPETITION COMMITTEES

Current version of the Green Book. Following the 2019 changes to the Rules of Golf and the launch of the new World Handicap System, the Green Book is currently under review. Until the new version is published, any points that conflict with the new regulations or require clarification should be referred to the relevant RFEG committee.

CIRCULARS IN FORCE

Compendium of all current circulars affecting clubs and competition committees.

STATISTICAL DATA

Publication of statistical data relating to the fields and the Handicap System.

As new documentation is published or existing documentation is updated, it will be available on the Courses and Handicap Committee microsite so that everything is available from a single page and in just one step for the user.
