The Sella Open, a professional women's golf tournament integrated into the Ladies European Tour, with a prize fund of one million euros, the highest amount related to this sport in Spain, returns to Dénia, from September 17 to 20, to celebrate the fourth edition of an event built around a unique experience for the players.

Since its inception in 2023, La Sella Open has established a unique position within the women's golf calendar thanks to a tournament model designed to put the players at the center. From the week's organization to the services and facilities available, the event prioritizes their preparation, performance, and recovery.
 
One of the clearest examples of this approach is the absence of the traditional Pro-Am during tournament week. Instead of adding new commitments to the players' schedules, La Sella Open protects their time and allows them to fully concentrate on the competition.

The participants' experience is also enhanced by the tournament's setting. The golf course, practice areas, and accommodation are all integrated within the same resort, creating a comfortable, functional space designed to support the players throughout the week.

The Sella Open will once again have a prize fund of one million euros, the highest of any professional women's golf tournament held in Spain and one of the most important on the Ladies European Tour's regular calendar.

Carlos García, president of La Sella Golf, points out that «from the beginning, our ambition has been to create a tournament that puts the players at the heart of every decision. The prize money is an important part of that commitment, but it goes much further. We want to offer them the time, facilities, and environment they need to perform at their best. Looking ahead to our fourth edition, we remain fully committed to the growth of women's golf.».

It is worth remembering that the first three editions of the tournament have crowned three different champions and have left important moments in their respective careers: the Spaniard Nuria Iturrioz (2023), the German Helen Briem (2024) and the 16-year-old Canadian Anna Huang (2025).

This list of winners embodies the objective of La Sella Open in the 2026 edition: to offer both established players and new talents a premium stage in which to compete at the highest level and create decisive moments in their careers, keeping the players at the center of the experience.
