The Royal Spanish Golf Federation, together with the Autonomous Federations and the support of the Higher Sports Council through its Women and Sport program, promotes the television program HOLAGOLF, a fifteen-minute magazine.

The aim of this program, presented by journalist Miguel Ángel Barbero and professional golfer Patricia Lobato, is to introduce golf to those unfamiliar with it by highlighting its many benefits, such as health, nature, and physical activity. Additionally, leading figures in the sport collaborate to dispel the prejudices that have historically been associated with this recreational and athletic activity.

En la segunda entrega de la temporada, Holagolf recibe a un golfista histórico en el panorama español, Santi Luna. Tras una carrera llena de éxitos en el Circuito Europeo, Santi sigue comprometido con este maravilloso deporte compitiendo en el Legends Tour de veteranos. El propio golf será el que dicte sentencia cuando llegue el momento de guardar los palos. Mientras tanto, le quedan muchos golpes por dar.

En la sección “Hoyo singular”, nos desplazamos hasta San Vicente de la Barquera (Cantabria). El antiguo hoyo 13 (ahora 4) de Santa Marina Golf posee uno de los hoyos más peculiares que se pueda imaginar, con un nido de halcones como guardián. Como valor añadido, el gran Severiano Ballesteros fue el artífice de este remoto hoyo en el norte de España.

Además, el apartado de “Damas Golf” se adentra en la historia de Ana Larrañeta. La que fuera golfista profesional, ha cambiado los campos de golf por los despachos. Actualmente se encarga de dirigir el Circuito Europeo LETAS. Como colofón al programa, el periodista Hugo Costa cuenta la notable influencia latina que se está dejando ver en el LIV Golf saudí.
