The Rules Committee of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation has promoted a meeting with the Presidents of the various Rules Committees of the Regional Golf Federations in order to unify criteria, address the implementation of the Rules of Golf 2023-2026 and discuss the modifications announced from January 1st of next year.

The meeting was led by Pablo Chaves, President of the RFEG Rules Committee, who gave a detailed report on the actions taken during the current year and the main changes to the Rules that will come into force immediately.

In addition to the above, the meeting addressed issues related to the refereeing regulations; the provision of on-demand rules courses; a training plan; and the necessary collaboration between Regional Federations to meet the growing refereeing needs due to the increasing number of competitions, as well as a plan to disseminate the new golf rules among players, club committees, etc., for their proper implementation.
