Challenge Week in Spain, which is fully covered on this website, and a week of exciting tournaments around the world for our professional golfers. One of these was the Austrian Alpine Open, the halfway point of the DP World Tour's European Swing, where Rafael Cabrera achieved a commendable fourth place with a score of -15.

The Canary Islander, winner of the tournament back in 2009, has stormed into the Top 10 with a remarkable final round of 65 strokes, leaving him three strokes behind the winner, Japan's Kota Kaneko. Equally satisfying were Manuel Elvira's seventh-place finish (-14) and Eugenio López-Chacarra's twelfth (-12).

As far as women's golf is concerned, the week saw Blanca Fernández and Luna Sobrón share 28th place - with a hole-in-one included - at the Jabra Ladies Open de France, held at the legendary Evian Resort Golf Club (France), and Carla Tejedo (T51, +1) making the cut in the United States, this time at the ShopRite LPGA.

Furthermore, the Alps Tour continued with the Roissy Open at PGA France. In France, Pablo Riveiro and Pablo Alperi shared twelfth place at -11. Gonzalo Leal and Víctor García Broto (-9) also secured a spot in the Top 20.
