The Villa de Madrid Country Club, together with the Spanish Association of Greenkeepers (AEdG) and the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, are launching, as every year, the volunteer program for the preparation of the Spanish Open Presented by Madrid 2025.
The volunteers will carry out maintenance and preparation tasks on the course during the week of the tournament, which will be coordinated by the CCVM maintenance team, headed by its Head Greenkeeper, Mr. Javier Villasante. This task will be supported by the AEdG and the Green Section of the RFEG through this volunteer program, which will subsidize travel, accommodation, uniforms and meals for four volunteers chosen from among all those interested who apply.
To be eligible to apply, the following conditions apply:
-Be an active member of the AEdG.
-Be available to help prepare the course throughout the week of the tournament, from October 6th to October 12th, both days included.
Those interested in participating as volunteers can send the attached application form and a cover letter to the email address diana.bango@rfegolf.es
The deadline for submitting and sending the documentation is September 5, 2025.
Once the tournament is over, each volunteer will be given a certificate, signed by the Presidents of the AEdG and RFEG, which will accredit their participation as a volunteer in said event.
