Paula Neira from Asturias and Pablo Hualde from Navarre have been named Players of the Term at the Blume National Golf Schools in Madrid and León, respectively, an award that recognizes their merits at the sporting, academic and other levels.

In this second quarter, Paula Neira has been third in the Madrid Women's Championship, she entered the playing field in the SM La Reina Cup, she was a member of the Spanish team that finished third in the Real Club de Golf de Sotogrande Cup and of the team that played the International Match against England, and she fell in the round of 16 of the 2017 French Junior Women's International.

Meanwhile, among other good performances, Pablo Hualde achieved a remarkable fourth place in the Spanish Under-18 Championship held at the end of March in Hacienda del Álamo (Murcia). He finished four strokes behind the winner, Alejandro Aguilera.

Gonzalo Leal and Jon López-Lanchares, award winners in the first quarter

Gonzalo Leal from Seville and Jon López-Lanchares from Gipuzkoa were the award winners in the first quarter of the 2016/2017 season. Both players completed convincing performances in those first months in events such as the Balearic Cup or the Andalusian Cup, in which Gonzalo Leal finished eleventh.

Likewise, both golfers were summoned to the Men's Amateur Technical Committee meeting held at the Escorpión Golf Club (Valencia) in the last week of 2016.
