Pablo Martín from Malaga has become number 1 in the University Ranking just three months after arriving in the United States.

The Spanish golfer, who continues his golf training at Oklahoma State University after winning, among other tournaments, the Spanish Individual Championship, the European Under-16 Championship, the British Boys, the Carris Trophy, the Junior Orange Bowl and several gold medals in various European Team Championships, has won two of the three university championships in which he has participated so far – the 'Ping/Golfweek Preview' and the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational – while his college, Oklahoma State, has achieved first place in the two team tournaments in which it has taken part at the start of this season.

This is the first time in the history of Spanish golf that a golfer from our country has topped, even momentarily as is the case on this occasion with Pablo Martín, the University Ranking in the United States.
