Basque players Adrián Otaegui and Jon Rahm have achieved valuable Top 10 positions in the French Open, part of the European Tour, a remarkable result that adds to those obtained by Scott Fernández and Pedro Oriol in the Scottish Challenge.

Adrián Otaegui finished seventh at the French Open after shooting a 70 for -6. The Basque player, who was in great form all week, dropped a few spots in the third round with a 74, but recovered to maintain his position among the top players. Jon Rahm, meanwhile, finished with a 69 for -5.

Meanwhile, Pedro Oriol and Scott Fernández have shone in the Scottish Challenge; they shared ninth place with -8 in the total, demonstrating that their good results in recent weeks are not a matter of chance.

Carlota Ciganda, twentieth in the KPMG Women's PGA

Special mention this week goes to the Women's LPGA Tour, which has called up Carlota Ciganda, Azahara Muñoz, Beatriz Recari and Belén Mozo to an important tournament, the KPMG Women's PGA Championship.

Carlota Ciganda (T20, -3) played with the best again this week, though she could have used a few more birdies in the middle rounds to get into contention for the win. The player from Navarre is certainly on the right track. Belén Mozo (T59, +5) also made the cut.

Another highlight of the week was the US Senior Open, which brought together the best golfers in the category in Massachusetts. Among them were two players from Andalusia, Miguel Ángel Jiménez and Miguel Ángel Martín.
