Today at the Villa de Madrid Country Club, the new Spin & Swing by Cantabria Labs initiative was presented, a charity golf circuit for companies promoted by Rafa Nadal with the aim of raising funds to support the Education and Sport project of the Rafa Nadal Foundation Centers.

Spin & Swing by Cantabria Labs is an initiative that unites movement, impact, and the business community, seeking to redefine the way golf is experienced, taking it beyond competition. All the information about the circuit, rankings, and news can be found at www.spinandswing.org and on its official Instagram account @golfspinandswing.

The circuit was born as a natural evolution of Rafa Nadal's sporting and social legacy, reinforcing sport as a powerful tool for social transformation.

Rafa Nadal explained that the project stems from his passion for golf and his desire to continue supporting the Foundation's social work: “This initiative was a personal idea born from my love for golf, and it's a way to generate recurring resources to carry out the Rafa Nadal Foundation's projects and continue helping vulnerable children and teenagers. Furthermore, I believe golf is the only sport where you can have fun playing with people of different skill levels. It will be a shared experience, a chance to spend time and share important moments with the various participating companies, and a place where we can build networks. It will be a fun and enjoyable event, and we intend to make it a recurring one for many years to come.”.

During the event, Juan Matji, president of Cantabria Labs, highlighted the company's commitment to these types of impactful projects: “Promoting this circuit alongside Rafa Nadal and his Foundation is synonymous with success, which is why we decided to join this initiative that we hope will be long-lasting and have a significant impact. Furthermore, Spin & Swing by Cantabria Labs also embodies many of the values we identify with: effort, perseverance, teamwork, and social commitment. Ultimately, at Cantabria Labs, we believe in projects that generate a real positive impact, which is why we have been working with Rafa and the Rafa Nadal Foundation for so many years.”.

The circuit will consist of four stages throughout the year, with the participation of around 15 corporate teams of six people in each event, and will be held on some of the most exclusive courses in the country:

-La Manga Club (Murcia) – February 26 and 27

-Villa de Madrid Country Club – April 21 and 22

-Real Golf de Pedreña (Santander) – June 11 and 12

-Camiral (Girona) – October 22-24

In addition to the sporting competition, Spin & Swing will offer a premium experience, with exclusive events and gastronomic proposals prepared by renowned chefs such as Pablo González Conejero of the Cabaña Buenavista Restaurant in the Region of Murcia, which has two Michelin Stars, and chef Jesús Sánchez of Cenador de Amós who will be in charge of the gastronomic proposal for the stages in Madrid and Santander, and many more surprises for the final in Girona, reinforcing the relational and experiential character of the circuit.

María Francisca Perelló, director of the Rafa Nadal Foundation, emphasized the importance of the project's social impact: “Spin & Swing allows us to reach new companies and new audiences through a different format, very much in line with the Foundation's values. All the funds raised will be allocated to the Education and Sport project, which we run at the Rafa Nadal Foundation Centers in Palma, Valencia, and Madrid.”

Currently, this project serves more than 500 vulnerable children and adolescents each year, offering them educational, sports, and psychosocial support. Over the past decade, more than 3,700 children and their families have been served, demonstrating that this is a long-term, robust, and sustainable program with a significant impact.

“Thanks to the involvement of the participating companies, we can continue and expand the reach of our projects. Spin & Swing is a clear example of how collaboration between businesses and social organizations generates a positive and sustainable impact,” added María Francisca Perelló. Spin & Swing is not just a golf circuit, but the continuation of a legacy that keeps evolving and using sport as an engine for social change.
