The aim of 'Golf Week' was to introduce children to the secrets of golf and offer a fun and sporting space for families during the school holidays. This original event, offered by the VallSur Shopping Centre, ran from March 28th to April 2nd.

This activity, organized by Telecyl Comunicación with sponsorship from Grupo Telecyl and Aldeamayor Golf Club, had the participation of a total of 720 children.

In the nearly 200 square meters set up at VallSur, a team of professional instructors from Telecyl Comunicación and Aldeamayor Golf Club introduced young children to some of the techniques of the sport free of charge. They set up a four-hole children's mini-golf course where they enjoyed practicing on the putting green, imitating youth idols like Sergio García and Tiger Woods.

They were also able to test their skills in the swing area, which included a tee box, driving range, and irons for both adults and children. The course was divided into age groups: 4 to 6 years, 7 to 12 years, 12 years and older, and adults.

With this initiative, VallSur continued to contribute to expanding the range of sports activities available in the city and province. 'Golf Week' provided parents in Valladolid with a new healthy leisure option for their children to make the most of their free time during the holidays.
