The trust you have placed in me is both a privilege and a responsibility, a responsibility that I embrace, as I have said, with great enthusiasm.”.
The newly elected EGA President brings vast knowledge as an executive leader with over 30 years of experience in the sports, tourism and event management fields, in both the public and private sectors.
Joaquín Castillo, a member of the national golf teams on several occasions, both as a player and captain in the 1970s and 1980s, was manager of the Villa de Madrid Country Club for 10 years and later Director General of Tourism for the Community of Madrid.
