The Royal Spanish Golf Federation, together with the Autonomous Federations and the support of the Higher Sports Council through its Women and Sport program, promotes the television program HOLAGOLF, a fifteen-minute magazine that is now in its ninth season.
The aim of this program, presented by journalist Miguel Ángel Barbero and professional golfer Patricia Lobato, is to introduce golf to those unfamiliar with it by highlighting its many benefits, such as health, nature, and physical activity. Additionally, leading figures in the sport collaborate to dispel the prejudices that have historically been associated with this recreational and athletic activity.
El vigesimoquinto programa comienza con un reportaje sobre la Asociación de Clubes sin Campo, presidida por Raúl de la Flor. Esta organización tiene como principal objetivo fomentar el golf y aumentar las licencias a nivel nacional.
Luego, en ´De pro a pro´, Patricia Lobato recibe en la sección de entrevistas con golfistas profesionales al navarro Javier Barcos, quien cuenta en su notable crecimiento deportivo en este último año con el triunfo en el Orden de Mérito del Alps Tour y el ascenso al Challenge.
En ‘Damasgolf’, Carolina López Chacarra cuenta su reciente salto a la profesionalidad tras una excelente etapa amateur. La madrileña ya se estrenó en el LET y su siguiente reto es la escuela del LPGA.
Después, en el ´Reportaje´, se explica cómo el circuito Albatros ha experimentado una creciente evolución desde su creación. El torneo, inicialmente creado para jugarse en la Comunidad Autónoma de Andalucía, ha traspasado barreras y ahora tiene paradas en Murcia, Madrid y Portugal.
Por último, en ´Con otro acento´, el periodista Abraham Neme cuenta en primera persona la experiencia de jugar en el único campo diseñado por Tiger Woods en México, El Cardonal. Situado en Los Cayos, ha sido sede del PGA Tour durante los últimos tres años y es uno de los destinos golfísticos más importantes de Latinoamérica.
