The RFEG Rules Committee has published the Official Guide to the Rules of Golf 2019, a publication currently being distributed to the various Autonomous Federations and different bodies that make up the Spanish golf scene.

This publication is aimed specifically at Referees and Competition Committees in order to offer satisfactory answers to situations and possibilities that may arise or that are intended to be established during the development of the game.

Its contents are:

. The 2019 Rules of Golf and their interpretations (which could be considered equivalent to the former “Decisions”)

. The Committee's Procedures, i.e., what the Competition Committees can and cannot apply; the different models of Local Rules; tasks within their competence on the field and at the Club; supplementary information, etc.

. Amendment to the Rules for Players with Disabilities to Play Golf

At the same time, the aforementioned Rules Committee of the RFEG has published the book entitled “Rules of the Statute of the Amateur Golf Player and its Decisions”, which includes extensive information on the cases in which an amateur player can lose such status, advice to players, Federations, Committees and Clubs, as well as answers for the resolution of cases.

Both books form a unit, in accordance with the previous requests made by the aforementioned bodies and entities.

The RFEG Rules Committee has also considered students of the Rules of Golf, including those who intend to take the National Referee exam, the date of which is yet to be determined, although it will be within the current year 2019, reserving a small number of copies for this purpose.
