Spain defeated Portugal 8.5 to 7.5 in the Junior International Match held at Norba Golf Club (Cáceres). The Spanish team broke the tie during the second day of individual matches, after the first day had ended in a 4-4 tie between the two countries.

As happened during the first day - in which the matches for pairs took place under the fourballs and foursomes modalities - the Spanish women had a decisive influence on the victory against the Portuguese team.
