The team from Real Club de Golf El Prat (Barcelona) is representing Spanish golf at the 2025 Ladies European Club Championship, which will be held at the Green Resort Hrubá Borša course in Slovakia, just outside Bratislava, from October 2nd to 4th. Their goal is to win what would be Spain's third title.

The Catalan team that traveled to Slovakia consists of Daniela Montolio, Andrea de Sentmenat, and Carolina Pérez-Tasso. The first two were part of the quartet that won the Spanish Interclub Championship at the end of June, alongside Anna Cañadó and Valeria Biarge. Their outstanding performance then earned them the opportunity to represent Spain at this Women's European Club Championship.

The Barcelona team will face eighteen other teams from sixteen European countries (Slovakia and Germany each have two teams). Their goal is to secure what would be Spain's third victory in a competition that, once again, features golfers from classic clubs such as Golf Club Sankt Leon-Rot, Club de Golf Lyon, and Hamburger Golf Club, the defending champion.

Each team consists of three players, who will face the challenge of accumulating the fewest strokes possible over the three days of competition, which is played in stroke play format. Only the two best scores from each team count in each round.

Two victories in the Spanish tally

Spanish golf achieved its first victory in the inaugural edition thanks to the RACE (Madrid) trio of Adriana Zwanck, Carmen Alonso, and Marta Martín del Castillo. Since then, they have had several good performances, but none have been rewarded with the top prize until 2012.

It was then that Ane Urchegui, Laura Urbistondo and Ainhoa Olarra won the title for the San Sebastian team of Basozábal through a solid and brilliant performance on the Greek course of Corfu Golf Club.
