The 2025 Pitch & Putt season kicks off this weekend with the first National Ranking Tournament at one of the most iconic courses for this discipline of golf, Las Palmeras (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria). The ninety available spots have been more than filled, including some of last season's champions.

José María Ortiz de Pinedo from Valladolid, and César Fernández de Caleya and Noel Calzadilla from the Canary Islands lead this list as winners of the 2024 qualifying rounds, although it is true that they are not the only ones who come to this start of the course with the label of winners.

Marcos Gómez and José Ángel Pérez, from Galicia, winners last year in the Spanish Senior and Doubles Championships respectively, also attest to this status.

As has been the custom in recent years, the National Ranking tournaments are held in three rounds: the first two are played on Saturday and the third on Sunday morning.

And once again, Bodegas Habla is sponsoring the competition, giving away a valuable Magnum to players who achieve a hole-in-one on both days.

Six events make up the National Ranking

The 2025 National Pitch & Putt Ranking consists of six events: the Spanish Individual Championships and the four National Ranking Tournaments. The first of the Spanish Championships will be the men's, to be held on May 17th and 18th in Paderne (A Coruña), and the women's will be played on October 25th and 26th at Golf Elche.

The three remaining National Ranking events are the one at Golf Torrepacheco (Murcia, April 5-6), the one at La Junquera Golf (Cantabria, June 14-15) and, finally, the one at Las Encinas Golf (Madrid, September 20-21).
