The Technical Committee for Rules and Referees of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation held a General Assembly of Referees at the RACE Golf Club in Madrid, attended by forty-seven members, a large proportion of whom are currently active. The agenda included several current issues affecting the committee.

The day began with a report by the committee president, Margarita Salmerón, followed by four presentations on different topics by the vice president, Luis Fernández-Conde (Relationship between Competition Committees and Referees), and by the members Vicente Olmos (Website and Golf Rules App), Manuel García Mancebo (Referee Training Plan) and Carmelo Castillo (Exams for National Referees).

The assembly concluded with a warm tribute to Pablo Chaves, President of the committee until 2024.
