Spanish golfers Belén Mozo, Pablo Martín and siblings Emma and Miguel Cabrera have been named Rolex Junior All American by the American Junior Golf Association, the most prestigious award in the world of junior golf in the USA in recognition of the merits accumulated by all of them in tournaments played in the United States.

Emma Cabrera from the Canary Islands was recognized in the 'Second Team All American' category, while her brother Miguel, Belén Mozo from Cádiz and Pablo Martín from Málaga received recognition in the 'Honorable Mention' category.

It should be noted that the 'All American' designation, in its various forms, is the highest distinction awarded to an athlete in the United States.

Those responsible for awarding these prizes valued, in the case of Emma Cabrera, the second places achieved in the Doral Junior Classic and in the Scott Robertson Memorial, the fourth place in the Orange Bowl and the eighth position in the Thunderbird International, all of them competitions of the highest international recognition.

Meanwhile, the victories of Miguel Cabrera in the Doral Junior Classic, Pablo Martin in the Orange Bowl and Belén Mozo in the Thunderbird International have been decisive in the positive assessment of the AJGA to award these players the 'All American' rating.

It's worth remembering that last year Emma Cabrera and Adriana Zwanck from Madrid were honored with this award in the 'Honorable Mansion' category, which gives an idea of the prestige our junior players are acquiring in the United States, resulting in increasing invitations to participate in the most important tournaments on the American junior circuits.
