For the second consecutive year, the Spanish Men's 4th Category Championship travels to the Augusta Golf Calatayud course (Zaragoza), which hosts the competition from September 13 to 15 with the presence of 53 golfers from different parts of the country.

A high degree of parity is expected in the tournament, given one fact: 32 players start with a playing handicap between 18.5 and 22. This makes for an unpredictable event.

Focusing on the exact handicap, it's worth highlighting the names of José Carlos Esteras, Rafael Calero, Patricio Ayllón, and Javier Alonso, all with 18.5. Jorge Constantino Cordón and Javier Portero, with 18.6, are other players to watch this weekend.

The tournament, as is the usual rule, is played over 54 holes of Stroke Play (stroke game) spread over three rounds of 18.
