In accordance with the provisions of section q) of article 94 of the Statutes of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, the sanction of PUBLIC REPRIMAND, provided for in section i) of article 98 of the Statutes of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, is imposed on the Parador de Málaga Golf, which will be published, for 15 calendar days, on the notice boards of:

– The Royal Andalusian Golf Federation – as this is the Autonomous Federation corresponding to the club where the infraction was committed

– The Parador de Málaga Golf – as this is the club where the infraction occurred – and,

– The Royal Spanish Golf Federation, in addition to its website.

Following the initiation of the appropriate disciplinary proceedings, the Sports Disciplinary Committee of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, in its session of October 4, 2011, considered the processing of the results obtained by a player in the Pro-Am of the “Andalucía Golf Open” – a professional event corresponding to the European Tour – which took place at the Parador de Málaga Golf on March 23 of this year, together with the results of a tournament held at the aforementioned golf club on April 16, 2011, to be proven a serious infraction, contravening the provisions of sections 2.10, 2.28, 2.35, 12, 14, 15 and 18 of the EGA Handicap System.
