Royal Andalusian Federation

The Andalusian Golf Federation was founded in 1979,

Through the merger of the two existing delegations in Andalusia, and having its own legal personality since 1985 as a non-profit association integrated into the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, on May 19, 2006, the Royal Household granted it the title of Royal Andalusian Golf Federation. It is registered in the Register of Sports Associations of the Regional Government of Andalusia, the body to which it reports, representing golf in the Autonomous Community, with delegated public functions, and has a structure, according to current regulations, comprised of a General Assembly, which is elected every four years coinciding with the Summer Olympic Games.

The General Assembly is composed of representatives from sports clubs and associations, athletes, coaches, and referees. The General Assembly elects the President of the Royal Federation, who then appoints its Board of Directors.
