Saldaña Golf Sports Club of Burgos

Located six kilometers from Burgos and adjacent to the N-I highway, Saldaña Golf is visible from the motorway connecting Madrid with northern Spain, presenting one of the most attractive challenges for any golfer. The original layout by Pepe Gancedo and the final design by Laureano Nomen offer a wide and generous view of the course, perfectly suited to the 71 hectares of the estate that houses its facilities. It requires a wide variety of shots and the use of every club in the bag to meet the challenge of this natural setting, with a course featuring five par-3s, five par-5s, and eight par-4s. Its fairways and, above all, its spacious greens have been built respecting USGA golf course construction standards. Special attention is paid to the aquatic features: nine lakes come into play, and a stream flows through five holes.
