Buenavista Golf

In the far northwest of Tenerife, very close to the impressive Teno mountain range and framed by the Atlantic Ocean, lies Buenavista Golf, an 18-hole course designed and opened by Severiano Ballesteros in October 2003.

The course has 18 holes, a par of 72, and a length of 6,019 meters. It consists of 6 holes for the par 3, 4, and 5, among which the holes closest to the coast stand out, giving the player the sensation of hitting the ball towards the ocean, and the lakes of holes 9 and 18 connected by waterfalls.

The contrast of the Atlantic Ocean with the majestic Teno massif makes the player who visits Buenavista Golf feel in complete harmony with the surrounding environment and perceive nature in its purest state.

Buenavista Golf is a clear example of an environmentally friendly golf course that optimally addresses landscape issues with spectacular views, as well as housing interesting micro-reserves of endemic Canarian flora.

This commitment to the surrounding environment has allowed it to be awarded the Green Wood Award 2006 and obtain ISO 14001 and 9001 certifications granted by TÜV. In addition, it holds the Golf Biosphere certification granted by the Responsible Tourism Institute and recognized by UNESCO.
