Además de las jugadoras citadas, han disputado la primera fase de la final otras seis españolas: Alexandra Vidal (Iowa State), Paula Francisco (Florida), Cayetana Fernández (Texas A&M), Balma Dávalos (Auburn), Rocío Tejedo (LSU) y Lucía Valderrama (Michigan State).
Andrea and Paula, brilliant at the Regionals
Andrea Revuelta and Paula Martín continued to make history in the University League by leading their university to the final with Andrea's victory and Paula's second place in the Regional, a step prior to the final title competition.

Second place went to Paula Martín (-10), who played all three days under par. Both were the driving force behind Stanford, which in turn achieved something unprecedented in the last twenty years: placing all five of its golfers in the Top 10 of a Regional tournament.
In total, six Regionals were held in which seven other Spanish women secured their place in the final: Cayetana Fernández and Rocío Tejedo qualified in Texas; Alexandra Vidal in Louisville GC; Lucía Valderrama and Paula Balanzategui in North Carolina; Anna Cañadó in Michigan; and Paula Francisco in Tallahassee.
