La Manga Club hosts for the second consecutive year, from November 1st to 4th, the World Golf Awards, prestigious international awards, popularly known as the 'Oscars' of golf, an event full of activities linked to this sport and an awards gala in which the destinations and establishments awarded this year will be announced.

La Manga Club is once again vying for several awards in this edition, such as "Best Golf Destination in Europe", among others.

During these days, representatives from more than 40 countries attend these awards at the exclusive resort, which identify and reward excellence in facilities and services at various golf courses around the world.

This is the second time these awards have been held in Spain, and the organization has once again chosen the exclusive resort for the second year in a row to host the fifth edition.

For three days, various activities and events will take place, and the awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, November 3, which will be attended by the most prominent personalities in the world of golf tourism.

The Director General of Sports at La Manga Club, Eduardo Ruiz, explained that “it is a great honor and privilege to be chosen once again as hosts of the World Golf Awards, and that the organization has placed its trust in us for the second year in a row.”.

“Each year the event attracts some of the most respected figures in the golf industry, and we are delighted to once again have the opportunity to showcase our golf courses and leisure facilities to a key global audience,” concludes Eduardo Ruiz.

La Manga Club is nominated for several of these awards, considered the Oscars of the golf world. This year it has been nominated for “Best Golf Destination in Europe”, “Best Golf Course in Spain”, and “Best Golf Hotel in Spain”.

Last year, the exclusive resort was chosen as “Best Golf Destination in Europe” and, in addition, its Príncipe Felipe 5* hotel was selected as “Best Golf Hotel in Spain”, an award it also received in 2014 and 2015.
