The Golf Federation of the Region of Murcia It is a private, non-profit entity with its own legal personality and assets and full capacity to act in order to fulfill its purposes.

It is considered a public benefit entity in accordance with the provisions of the Murcian Sports Law. The Golf Federation of the Region of Murcia shall be governed by the Murcian Sports Law of July 12, 2000, and its implementing regulations, as well as by these Statutes and the Regulations that implement them. In all matters not covered by the aforementioned regulations, the Statutes and Regulations of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation shall apply as supplementary law, and in any case, they shall be the criteria for interpretation in relation to the rules applicable to this Federation.

The Golf Federation of the Region of Murcia is made up of the following sports entities listed below: a) Sports clubs or sports sections, b) Public Limited Sports Companies, c) Sports promotion and recreation entities and by athletes, coaches, judges and referees and other interested groups who practice golf or contribute to the development and promotion of the sport of golf within the territory of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.

The scope of action of the Golf Federation of the Region of Murcia is the territory of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, without prejudice to its oversight, control, and supervisory functions over its members outside the Murcian autonomous territory. The Golf Federation of the Region of Murcia is a member of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation and is the sole competent body within the territory of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia to oversee and control official regional, district, and local competitions, and may participate in official national or international competitions with prior authorization from the Spanish Federation. The Golf Federation of the Region of Murcia will not permit discrimination among its members based on birth, race, sex, opinion, or any other personal or social condition or circumstance.

In addition to its own functions, the Golf Federation of the Region of Murcia also performs delegated public functions under the coordination and supervision of the General Directorate of Sports of the Ministry of the Presidency of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia.

1. The Golf Federation of the Region of Murcia carries out and develops activities related to the governance, management, organization, and regulation of the sport of golf, as well as: a) Promoting and disseminating the sport of golf. b) Fostering, supervising, and regulating all golf-related sporting activities and performing oversight, control, and supervisory functions with respect to its members. c) Promoting and collaborating in the creation of clubs or sports entities that facilitate the practice of golf and advising them in their mission, provided they comply with the applicable regulations of the Autonomous Community, this Federation, and the Royal Spanish Golf Federation. d) Enforcing compliance with these Statutes and their implementing regulations. e) Promoting and collaborating in the training of technical personnel (umpires, professionals, and instructors). f) Exercising control over subsidies allocated to members. g) Implementing the resolutions of the Sports Disciplinary Committee.

2. In addition to its own functions, it performs other public administrative functions under the coordination and supervision of the Autonomous Community. These public administrative functions are: a) To classify, organize, and authorize official regional golf competitions. b) To promote competitive sports within the Autonomous Community. c) To collaborate with the Administration on the development and implementation of programs and plans for the training of elite athletes. d) To issue and process federation licenses. e) To prevent, control, and suppress the use of prohibited substances and non-regulatory methods in the practice of sports. f) To exercise disciplinary authority in sports, in accordance with the provisions of the Murcian Sports Law, as well as these Statutes and the Sports Disciplinary Regulations. g) To select the athletes who will comprise the regional team, for which purpose the clubs must make their chosen athletes available to the Federation. h) To regulate and conduct the election processes of the Assembly and President. i) Any other function delegated by the Autonomous Community.

3. Actions taken by the Golf Federation in the exercise of its public administrative functions may be appealed to the competent body of the Autonomous Community in accordance with the regulations governing common administrative procedure. All other actions may be appealed to the ordinary courts in accordance with the legislation applicable in each case.
