If you are going to travel to Badajoz, Take note of the two golf courses located in this province: Guadiana Golf y Don Tello Golf. The first course is located just 8 km from the center of Badajoz, making it ideal for combining sport and activities in the heart of the city. The course has 18 holes, par 72. The club course is a 9-hole, par 36 course. Don Tello Golf, Located in a pasture 10 km from Mérida, next to the Guadiana River, it's easy to spot native wildlife right next door—especially ducks—while playing. The MADRID GOLF FEDERATION is a private, non-profit entity that holds the exclusive official representation of the sport of golf and the specialty of pitch & putt in the territory of the Community of Madrid for public purposes.
Furthermore, it is a public utility entity, in accordance with the provisions of article 1.5 of Decree 159/1996, and in addition to its own powers it exercises, by delegation, public functions of an administrative nature, acting in this case as a collaborating agent of the Public Administration.
As an entity whose purpose is the practice and promotion of the sport of golf, it will attend to the development of its sporting disciplines in accordance with the regulations of the Community of Madrid and those of the national and international sports organizations that govern said sport.
