In accordance with the provisions of article 97.2 of the Statutes of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, the sanction of PUBLIC REPRIMAND, provided for in article 22.1 of Royal Decree 1591/1992 of December 23, on Sports Discipline, is hereby imposed on the Hato Verde Golf Club, which will be published, for 15 calendar days, on the notice boards of:

– The Royal Andalusian Golf Federation – as this is the Autonomous Federation corresponding to the club where the infraction was committed –,

– The Hato Verde Golf Club – as this is the club where the infraction occurred – and,

– The Royal Spanish Golf Federation, in addition to its website.

Following the initiation of the appropriate disciplinary proceedings, the Sports Disciplinary Committee of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, in its session of April 11, 2011, considered proven the commission of a very serious infraction consisting of the teaching of classes without the required qualifications, by an amateur member, thereby contravening the provisions of:

The article Article 9 of the RFEG Statutes states verbatim; “Clubs and other Associations, athletes, coaches and referees will be integrated at their own request into the Royal Spanish Golf Federation through the corresponding regional federation based on their geographical location and legal domicile, in accordance with current legislation and will commit to complying with the Statutes and Regulations of the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, and submitting to the authority of the respective federative bodies, in matters within the competence of each one.”

Article 11.1 of the RFEG Statutes states verbatim; “In order for the Royal Spanish Golf Federation to grant the federation license to Clubs and other Associations, they must commit to requiring the presentation of the license in force in Spain to any person, whatever their nationality, who wishes to use the facilities dependent on them for the practice of sport.

Likewise, they must commit to requiring the qualification granted by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation, as well as a valid federation license, from those who teach at their facilities.”
