The UGolf Aravell Andorra Open 2026 by Creand enters its decisive round with everything still to play for. After the first 36 holes at the UGolf Aravell Andorra course, located just a few kilometers from the Principality, the leaderboard presents an exciting scenario, with several contenders separated by just one stroke.

The star of the second day was Frenchman Theo Boulet, winner of this tournament in 2014, who carded a brilliant 66 (-5) to take the sole lead with a total of 134 (-8). The French golfer once again demonstrated his excellent affinity for the Andorran course and will start with a slight advantage as he seeks his second title in Aravell.

Theo Boulet, 23, a winner of several Alps Tour tournaments, emphasized that the key to his performance was sticking to his strategy: «It was a great day. I played well, made good decisions, and hardly made any mistakes. On this course, it’s crucial not to overcomplicate things and always play from the right spots. I know this course very well, and that gives me a lot of confidence. Tomorrow I’ll stick with the same approach and try to be patient.»

Just one stroke behind the leader, with a total of seven under par, is a four-way tie made up of Frenchman Alexandre Vandermoten, Italian Manfredi Manica and Spaniards Víctor García Broto and Álvaro Hernández Cabezuela, who maintain their chances of victory intact.

Victor Garcia Broto, after a very consistent round, said: “I started a bit slowly and made a couple of mistakes, but then I played solid golf and sank several important putts. I’m very excited about the opportunity I have tomorrow and I’ll try to enjoy it.”.

Álvaro Hernández Cabezuela was also pleased with his game: «I played very well, although I feel I let a couple of shots slip away on the last few holes. I’m satisfied with the first two rounds and I’m feeling confident. Starting one shot behind is a good position. I’ll stick to my game plan and we’ll see what happens.”.

In total, 58 players —49 professionals and 9 amateurs— have made the cut, set at par for the course (142 strokes).
