Eugenio López-Chacarra now has three titles on the DP World Tour. His third came this Sunday at the DS Automobiles Open d'Italia, a classic event on the calendar, where he triumphed in style, dominating from the first day to the last and confirming what was already known: when he has a chance to win, Eugenio is a true killer.

The Spanish golfer (-24 overall) has had an impressive run at the Circolo Golf Torino course in Turin: he started with a 66, carded two 65s in the middle rounds, and finished with a near-perfect 64 in the final round. Five birdies and an impressive eagle on the 15th hole finally broke the spirit of Englishman Matt Wallace (-19).

Among the other title contenders were none other than Chilean Joaquín Niemann (-18) and Ángel Ayora (-16), who has once again had a remarkable week.

This was Eugenio López-Chacarra's third victory on the DP World Tour, following his wins at the 2025 Hero Indian Open and just three weeks ago at the KLM Dutch Open. He had previously won on the LIV Golf Tour (Bangkok, 2022) and the Asian Tour (Saint Andrews Bay Championship, 2023).

Ereño, one step away from victory in France

Pablo Ereño's year has been sensational. The final chapter of this great 2016 took place in France, during the Blot Play9 tournament. The Madrid native finished third with a total of -11 after a thrilling chase with Englishman John Gough (-14).

The Madrid native had chances of victory until the last two holes, where he took risks, understandably, but with no reward other than two bogeys. His tournament has been superb, as has that of another Pro Spain player, Joseba Torres (-7), who finished eighth and was always near the top.

With this result, Pablo Ereño consolidates his second place in the Race to Mallorca, the HotelPlanner Tour's order of merit.

Furthermore, Amaia Latorre (-14) finished tenth in the Czech Republic at the Tipsport Czech Ladies Open. In addition to the Basque golfer's fantastic performance, the tournament also marked Carmen Alonso's return to competition after an injury.
