This week the Alps Tour returns to action in northeastern Spain with the UGolf Aravell Andorra Open 2026. The tournament will be held from June 25-27 at UGolf Aravell Andorra, located in Aravell, Lleida, a few kilometers from the Principality of Andorra.

Now in its fifth edition, the UGolf Aravell Andorra Open was created in 2022 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the venue, UGolf Aravell Andorra, and has since become a regular event on the Alps Tour calendar.

Last Monday a qualifying tournament was held at the venue itself, where the top ten finishers secured a place in this week's tournament.

The total prize money amounts to 48,000 euros, with 45,000 points distributed for the Order of Merit, and 6,900 euros and 6,525 points for the winner.

The UGolf Aravell Andorra Open 2026 will be played over three days, with a cut after the first 36 holes for the top 40 professionals and ties, including all amateurs. In the event of a tie at the end of the final round, the tournament winner will be decided by a sudden-death playoff.

As the battle for the Order of Merit intensifies, the UGolf Aravell Andorra Open 2026 represents another important opportunity for players to solidify their position, with seven members of the current Top 10 competing this week.

Among the most prominent names are five winners from the 2016 season: Italian Enrico Di Nitto, Irishman Sam Murphy, Frenchmen Alexandre Vandermoten and Paul Franquet, and Spaniard Alejandro Rodríguez Andreu. Each arrives this week with the opportunity to secure their second victory of the season.

The only absentees from the current Top 10 this week are the leader of the Order of Merit, Italian Andrea Romano, Frenchman Maxime Legros, second in the ranking, and Italian Alessandro Nodari.

Romano and Legros have already achieved three victories each this season, which has earned them immediate promotion to the HotelPlanner Tour for the remainder of the year.

As the race to the Hulencourt Alps Tour 2026 Grand Final continues, players will be looking to take advantage of another important opportunity to gain valuable Order of Merit points and improve their standings.

Aravell Golf & Country Club, a great venue

Located just 15 km from the Principality of Andorra and 5 km from La Seu d'Urgell, the Aravell Golf & Country Club is situated in Aravell, Lleida. It features an 18-hole course designed by two-time Masters champion José María Olazábal. The course is a par 71 with a distance of 6,155 meters.

Known for its pleasing design, UGolf Aravell Andorra features narrow fairways, relatively small greens, and a generous rough, presenting a true challenge for golfers. Situated in a wide valley 700 meters above sea level, the course offers stunning views of the Pyrenees and the Cadí mountain range.
