The members of the General Assembly of the RFEG have approved, with 68 votes in favor and one abstention, the Economic Report corresponding to the 2025 financial year, which includes the settlement of the Budget for that same year, the Annual Accounts, changes in Net Worth, Statement of cash flows and Memorandum.

Juan Guerrero-Burgos, President of the RFEG, addressed the members of the General Assembly to review the current state of golf, beginning his speech by highlighting the sporting results produced in recent months, with special mention for the new Spanish Absolute, Under 18 and Under 16 champions, as well as the Spanish contribution to Stanford's victory in the US University League Final and Andrea Revuelta's second place in the prestigious ANWA.

The professional triumphs – David Puig at the BMW Australian PGA Championship; Ignacio Elvira at the Dubai Invitational; Eugenio López-Chacarra at the KLM Open; Jon Rahm at the LIV Golf Hong Kong and LIV Golf Mexico City, where the first three were Spanish; Pablo Ereño at the Challenge Catalunya; and Alejandro Rodríguez at the Gosser Open of the Alps Tour – were part of his speech, as were the good trajectories of the ten golfers with DP World Tour cards, the good chances of Carla Bernat to move up to the LPGA through the Epson Tour, and the fifteen players with LET status.

The initiatives developed to ensure the economic viability of the tournaments held in our country, with special mention for the Men's and Women's Spanish Opens, completed the review of the professional field before focusing on the six scholarships secured at the Blume Residence for the next year.

The growing collaboration of top-level professionals such as José María Olazábal – advisor to the Pro Spain Team and at training camps with golfers aspiring to become professionals – or Jon Rahm, who recently visited the members of the Blume National School to receive their advice for almost two hours, could be expanded in the near future with the presence of Miguel Ángel Jiménez or Manuel Piñero.

Juan Guerrero-Burgos also discussed various matters of interest: the positive evolution of licenses - highlighting the case of Madrid, where the 100,000 member mark has just been surpassed -; support for public course projects; the RFEG's digitization process; the new sponsorship with Unicaja and the regulatory adaptation of indoor facilities as a golf specialty.

The set of actions already carried out at the National Golf Centre - areas of the course, court, fitting, shop, etc. - brought the intervention of the President of the RFEG to a close, who concluded his speech by highlighting "the unity of action of all the institutions of Spanish golf, Autonomous Federations, Clubs, golf bodies, General Assembly, Board of Directors, Committees and RFEG staff, which allow our sport to continue growing.".

Luis Urquijo, vice president and treasurer of the RFEG, was then in charge of presenting to the members of the General Assembly the fundamental data of the federative economic management during 2025, based on moderation to diligently address the current economic situation.
