The Royal Spanish Golf Federation hosted the second meeting of the year of Managing Directors of the Regional Golf Federations, true to its policy of uniting efforts and criteria in the development of golf in our country and establishing consensus in all areas of action (presidency, management, sports directorates, etc.).

The meeting, led by Jorge Sagardoy, Managing Director of the RFEG, was attended by the heads of this area of the Autonomous Federations, who discussed current issues affecting this sport, focusing first on the digitization process undertaken by the RFEG, including a new App.

The agenda also included monitoring the activities carried out at the National Golf Centre and those aimed at promoting the celebration of the Ryder Cup 2031 at Camiral Golf, as well as the investments to be made in various public golf facilities spread throughout Spain.

The implementation of a new teaching concept in the Golf Schools of Spanish courses -Gamyplan-; the advice to those who want to continue their sporting career in universities in the United States; the agreement reached between the RFEG and the PGA of Spain; the scholarships of the Blume National School; upcoming professional tournaments to be held in our country were among the issues discussed at the meeting.

Monitoring the evolution of licenses and the promotional campaigns for loyalty and the recruitment of new members – Friends Cup, National 5th Category Circuit, Route 365… – were also discussed by the Managing Directors attending this meeting in order to offer a better service to the members.
