The Royal Spanish Golf Federation, together with the Autonomous Federations and the support of the Higher Sports Council through its Women and Sport program, promotes the television program HOLAGOLF, a fifteen-minute magazine that is reaching its tenth season.
The aim of this program is to introduce golf to those unfamiliar with it by highlighting its many benefits, such as health, nature, and physical activity. Additionally, leading figures in the sport collaborate to dispel the prejudices that have historically been associated with this recreational and athletic activity.
In this fifth episode, a very special interview takes place, as Jon Rahm reflects at length on his performance throughout the season for Holagolf. The Spanish champion had a tournament to forget at Augusta National, but has delivered some great performances at the LIV Golf Championship, the most recent being a few weeks ago in Mexico.
Meanwhile, in “Damasgolf,” Spanish golfer Harang Lee discusses the challenges faced by a professional golfer. There are always tense moments, but she experiences it as a true privilege.
Then, in “Golf from scratch”, Patricia Lobato gives a didactic lesson to explain the functions of the course measurement book and the paper that contains the game rhythm along with the pin positions.
Finally, in “With a Different Accent,” journalist Abraham Neme recounts how the LIV tournament, held at the Chapultepec Golf Club in Mexico, was experienced. The Spanish-speaking golfers received a warm welcome from the home crowd.
This weekly program is promoted by the Royal Spanish Golf Federation and the Higher Sports Council, through its Women and Sport program.
Apart from the premieres of each episode, all HOLAGOLF programs are periodically rebroadcast on Teledeporte and are also uploaded for online viewing at http://www.rtve.es/alacarta/videos/holagolf/, www.holagolf.es and www.rfegolf.es.
