The Royal Spanish Golf Federation, together with the Autonomous Federations and the support of the Higher Sports Council through its Women and Sport program, promotes the television program HOLAGOLF, a fifteen-minute magazine that is now in its ninth season.
The aim of this program, presented by journalist Miguel Ángel Barbero and professional golfer Patricia Lobato, is to introduce golf to those unfamiliar with it by highlighting its many benefits, such as health, nature, and physical activity. Additionally, leading figures in the sport collaborate to dispel the prejudices that have historically been associated with this recreational and athletic activity.
El vigesimoctavo programa comienza con una pieza informativa sobre los avances sostenibles que siguen produciéndose en el golf español. El Centro Nacional de Golf ha reducido su consumo de agua en un 45 % en apenas una década gracias a nuevas técnicas de riego.
Luego, en la entrevista, el torero Alberto López Simón cuenta cómo ha encontrado en el golf un espacio para desconectar. Asimismo, en “Hoyo Singular” se muestra el hoyo 4 del Nefyn Golf Club, en Gales. Esta cancha británica ofrece vistas espectaculares para el jugador, que podrá disfrutar de preciosos acantilados mientras intenta no perder su bola.
Después, en “De pro a pro”, el experimentado Rafa Cabrera charla con su exmaestro Kiko Luna. El canario ha sufrido varios altibajos en los últimos tiempos, pero parece haberse reencontrado con su mejor versión.
Por último, en “Con otro acento”, el periodista Abraham Neme ha preguntado a diferentes golfistas sudamericanos sobre la posibilidad de que los jugadores latinoamericanos se adhirieran al bando estadounidense en la Ryder Cup. ¿Sería más competitiva?
